I’ve been publishing a lot of posts with question marks in their titles and that’s a) boring and b) bad journalism, so this one has lots of exclamation marks instead. And it’s a makeup look! How exciting. I’ve been slack with makeup lately but the other day I felt a sudden urge to put colours on my eyelids and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. And those brows *ok emoji* if I do say so myself.
This look’s obviously focused on the eyeshadow and I used almost exclusively MAC shadows (for the interesting parts anyway—I think the transition/warm shades ended up being from Makeup Geek). The cobalt blue is MAC’s Atlantic Blue, a permanent shade that’s also in the recent Good Luck Trolls collection. The acid green is MAC Bowlarama (It’s A Strike collection) with a bit of MAC Pigment in Chartreuse (also permanent, also Trolls) over the top to dial it up.
It’s kinda annoying that so many of these are from LE collections, but in this case I’m more interested in what the makeup looks like than what exact products I did it with. That being said, I love the look of everything in the It’s A Strike collection and might take a stroll over to David Jones to look at it more closely…
I can’t remember exactly what else is on my face, except for the Maybelline Fit Me stick foundation in 115 and 120 (surprisingly excellent!) and Limnit Lipsticks’ Deepest Taupes and Dreams on my lips.
Let me know what you think of the look—it’s so different from what I usually do!
