It’s the start of spring, but it’s still too dark when I get home from work to take nice photos. Instead I thought I’d post a few of the things I’ve been wanting lately. The colour palette of this post is pretty springy, although to be honest I’m not one of those people who tries to match my makeup to the seasons.
1 Stila In The Garden palette
I love the other Stila eye products I have, and have heard good things about their eyeshadows. I’m slowly easing my way into wearing eyeshadow that isn’t neutral and this palette looks like a good place to start.
2 Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair II
This is the ~new and improved~ version that has just been released. It’s worked well for Harriet and even though it’s pretty pricey I’m hoping to try it out soon.
3 Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser
Antipodes products ALWAYS smell amazing, and the scent is the first thing that got me when I saw this in Farmers. I’ve been looking for a good cream cleanser; they seem to be a thing in the UK more than here or in the US, so it’s been hard to find one I can test first. I love my Antipodes Rejoice Day Cream, so fingers crossed this is just as good.
4 Dior Hydralife BB eye creme
This is all EssieButton‘s fault. It’s pretty pricey for an undereye concealer that apparently doesn’t have that much coverage, but I’m a sucker that can’t rest until I’ve tried something.
5 Bourjois bronzing primer
I’ve read that this can be used in a similar way to the Soleil Tan de Chanel. I’ve also read that it’s nothing like it other than being a cream bronzing product. What better way to find out than buying it? It’s a whoooole lot cheaper than the Chanel one too, so not too much of a loss if it doesn’t turn out great.
6 Rimmel Salon Pro nail polish by Kate Moss in Hip Hop
I spotted these for $7 each at Farmers at the moment. The Rimmel Salon Pro formula is really good for cheap nail polish, and they have good wide brushes.
7 Maybelline Color Whisper in Orange Attitude
Another product on the cheaper end of the spectrum! I have one of these in Pink Possibilities, and I find it performs a lot better than the Revlon Lip Butters (but I still like those too). Comparison post? Maybelline is buy 1 get 1 half price at Farmers at the moment, so it’s a good time to pick some up.
